What We Do

SNERIC operates as a hub for:

• Research and Development: Our expert researchers are committed to exploring the unique challenges faced by individuals with special needs in Uganda. Our studies cover a broad range of topics, including new teaching methods and the role of technology in special needs education.
• Innovation: We leverage partnerships with government bodies, schools, and technology firms to foster innovative solutions that enhance learning experiences.
• Training and Professional Development: We offer comprehensive training programs tailored for educators and professionals. Topics include inclusive teaching strategies and assistive technology usage.
• Community Outreach: SNERIC actively engages in community programs to raise awareness about the rights and needs of individuals with special needs.
